Shaken

 

“See to it that you do not refuse the One who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the One who was warning them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject the One who warns us from heaven.  His voice SHOOK the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I WILL SHAKE not only the earth, but also the heavens.  Now this phrase, “Yet once more,” shows the removal of those things that are shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.” (Heb 12:25-27 TLV, emphasis mine)

 

Our Elohim is in the process of shaking everything in our lives that can be shaken.  He will no longer allow us to continue to sit on the porch swing, idly watching the world go by, or even sit on the fence, undecided as to “whom we will serve”.  Our ‘comfort zone’, the place we have made for ourselves, in our ‘religious circles’, with our ‘hell-fire insurance’ paid up, will no longer offer the security that it once did.   He is shaking us, and He is reminding us that our lives are not our own (1Cor 6:19-20), that we have been bought with a price (1Pet 1:18, 19).  

As obedient servants, are we all able to pass the Deu 10:12-13 test, of fearing our Elohim, of walking in HIS ways, of loving and serving Him with everything in us, and being obedient to His Torah?  Only those things that cannot be shaken will remain, and for those of us who are called by His Name, it should be the Word of our living Elohim, our Creator, abiding within us.

 

“Examine yourselves to see whether you are living the life of trust. Test yourselves. Don't you realize that Yeshua the Messiah is in you? — unless you fail to pass the test.” (2Cor 13:5 CJB, emphasis mine) 

 

Abba Father, we know that judgment begins with the household of Elohim, with us, Your children.  Shake us, YAH; we want only those things that are pleasing to YOU left within us.  Let us not be found lukewarm in this hour; fill us with the fullness of YOU, that YOUR light may shine brightly from within us.  Fill our mouths with Your Words, fill our hearts with Your love, fill our very beings with Your compassion, that all would know that we belong to You, the Elohim Chayim, the Living God.  Amein and Amein!
