What
is Lovely
The expressions on a person’s face tell
us a story of a thousand words. It is
through these expressions that we can tell whether a person is sad, happy,
hurt, angry, offended, joyful, expectant, and many times, we can visibly see
what they are thinking about. We all
have our favorite daydreams, places that we enjoy going to in our minds, places
that are ‘lovely’, thoughts that bring us peace and happiness. And as long as these thoughts line up with
the Word of our Elohim, these are exactly the thoughts that we need to be
thinking …
In the last few years of her life, my
mother would spend many hours looking through her old photo albums, reminiscing
of times that brought her great joy and happiness. She would smile and laugh at pictures of us
as children, of her grandchildren, and of years that had come and gone. However, we, as children of El Elyon, the most high Elohim, have a hope of a future, and can turn our eyes
ahead, not back, to our eternal destiny.
We know, and we can daydream to our heart’s content, of what our future
will hopefully be, and of whom it will be with.
This, brethren, is the direction that our thoughts should turn to …
“There
are many rooms in the house of my Father.
And if not, I would have told you, for I go to prepare a place for
you. And if I go prepare a place for
you, I will come again and take you with me so that where I am you may be
also.” (John 14:2-3 HRVS)
“And I heard a loud voice from the heaven saying,
“See, the Booth of Elohim is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they
shall be His people, and Elohim Himself shall be with them and be their Elohim.” (Rev 21:3)
