I
Do Not Change
“For
I am the Lord, I do not change …” (Mal
3:6 AMPC)
Our Creator chose a
Hebrew nation as His own “special
treasure” (Ex 19:5-6), and gave His Word, His Torah, to these people, this
nation, now recognized as Jews. Further writings (as spoken by
Yahweh), compiled by the prophets and scribes through the centuries, have
completed their Tanakh, from which
the Biblical Old Testament originated. I
believe the accuracy of the present-day Hebrew Tanakh, preserved through the centuries, has been verified through
different archeological findings (including the Dead Scrolls), virtually word
for word.
Messiah Yeshua, a
Jew, was sent to be a Savior, Redeemer, and Deliverer, to the lost sheep of the
nation of Israel (see Mat 15:24). Yeshua
is still a Jew and will be coming
back to receive His bride to Himself as a Jew. The first disciples were Jews. The Apostle Paul was a Jew, and a Pharisee (see Phi 3:5). Elohim has not forgotten the Jews and cast
them aside; on the contrary. According
to Hosea 2:19-20, He says:
“And
I shall take you as a bride unto Me FOREVER, and take you as a bride unto Me in
righteousness, and in right-ruling, and kindness and compassion. And I shall
take you as a bride unto Me in trustworthiness, and you shall know יהוה.” (ISR, emphasis mine)
There are many
“forever’s” found throughout the Word of our Elohim, and simply put, means that
the specific principal being addressed will never change. EVER. Our Elohim does not change His mind, and
concerning His people, Israel, He
will always remain firm. The mainstream,
westernized church system has not taken their place. Those of us who recognize and accept Messiah
Yeshua for who and what He is, have now committed ourselves
to walking in the Torah, the divine instructions in righteous and moral
living. We have been not only adopted
(Eph 1:5), but also grafted in to the
main branch, and are now a part of Israel.
Let us always remember that we are merely branches grafted in, while the
nation of Israel will always be the root (Rom 11:16-20). And may we never forget that Messiah Yeshua is the vine, and Yahweh our Elohim
is the vine-dresser (John 15:1) …
“
יהושע
Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and FOREVER.” (Heb 13:8 ISR, emphasis mine)
“All
Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for
setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim
might be fitted, equipped for every good work.” (2Tim 3:16-17, ISR)
