Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  You have shown me, ABBA, the dangers that wait for those people who choose to walk away from Torah, and I understand, unfortunately, that there will be those that do. My petition to You, my El Tsaddik, my Righteous Elohim, is that I would never be counted among those who turn away, and turn back to Mitsrayim, to Egypt.  May my heart and my eyes always remained concentrated upon You, to walk in all of Your ways.  Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for all of the wonderful and talented “cooks” that have moved through my life, and for those that still continue to do so!  Their talent in creating some of the most delicious culinary delights is amazing, and makes something ordinary taste like ambrosia. Thank You, ABBA, for all of those that are gifted in this manner!  Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, there will come a time, of Your choosing, when this world as we know it, with all of its darkness, evil, and chaos, will “pass away”. My Sar Shalom, my Prince of Peace, will then rule and reign throughout eternity! Your Kingdom come, ABBA, and Your will be done in all the earth. May it be soon, Father, even in my day. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who takes great delight when I am obedient to the 7th day Shabbat. You are THE one who sanctified and set apart THIS day, ABBA, and I choose to honor You in it, on it, and through it. Thank You, my Father, for this sign between me and You, this everlasting, eternal covenant, that shows the world who I belong to! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are you, YHWH our Elohim, King of the Universe, who has given me another dawn, another day, another morning to rise and sing Your praise! You are the Elohim who brought order out of chaos, who hung the stars in their appointed positions, and suspends the earth in its space. My YAH is an awesome Elohim, who reigns from heaven above! I choose to honor You, this day, for it is the day that You have made! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given to me the means and the ability to travel.  Thank You, my Father, that I am able to travel many miles, and even many days, to visit with family, with like-minded brethren, or to simply vacation. As I travel to and from my destination, may I always watch for Your hand and Your presence. And may I always be the light You desire me to be. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has created both hot and cold, fire and ice. Thank You, my Father, for the warm heat that envelopes me in the cold of winter, and thank You, Father, for the cool breeze that refreshes me during the hot days of summer.  I think of You, my Creator, when I sip my hot cup of coffee in the morning, and I appreciate You with the cold glass of iced tea in the afternoon. And then there is the hot bowl of soup on a cold and windy night, as well as the homemade ice cream for the 4th of July. The foundation of all is You, the Adon Kol Ha’arets, the Elohim of all the Earth. May I continuously know the warmth of Your presence all the days of my life, while here, on this earth.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the standard of truth, and the example of truth I am to pattern my life by. Not only is Your Word, Your TORAH, truth, but You are not capable of speaking any type of falsehoods. And this is Your desire for me, Your child: truth springing from my inner being. May I always seek Your way, Your truth, and Your life … in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach … AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who requires me to “be an example to the believers in word, in behaviour, in love, in spirit, in belief, in cleanliness.” As I continue to yield myself to You, my Father, to Your will in me, I hope to reflect more of Your light, life and love to others around me. Help me, ABBA, to be the example You desire me to be. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me the sun to warm the earth, the moon to light the night sky, and the stars to decorate the dark expanse. Thank You, ABBA, for I recognize Your handiwork in all of Your creation, how intricate in its design it all is. May I never lose sight of how creative You are, from looking at the colors of the tropical oceans, to the pristine white of freshly fallen snow. Truly, You are Adon Kol-ha’arets, Master of ALL the Earth! Thank You, YHWH Elohim, for WHO You are …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for this gift of the Sabbath, a soothing refuge in time, allowing me to reconnect with You. With joy and excitement I eagerly anticipate the beginning of each Sabbath, on this special day that You have established. Thank You, thank You, Abba, for the Shabbat. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has compassion on me when I am bowed down and heavy burdened. You are the El Rachum, the Elohim of Compassion, and as soon as I turn the ‘heavy burdens and bowed back’ over to You, You are faithful to “make my feet like hinds' feet, and even cause me to walk on my high places!” Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who forgives me of ALL of my sins, transgressions, and iniquities. I run to You, broken, in repentance for what I have done, for I have sinned against You, my Creator and Father. I recognize, acknowledge, and confess my wrongdoings, and You not only forgive me, but You never remember any of my sins again! Oh, my ABBA, my Father! “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.” Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who orders my steps, one step at a time, one by one. You bring calm out of chaos, peace out of panic, and a sense of direction from total disaster. You are the El Roi, the Elohim Who sees, and to know that Your eyes are fixed upon me, caring for me, is beyond my comprehension.  “Who is like You, O יהוה[YHWH], among the mighty ones? Who is like You, great in set-apartness, awesome in praises, working wonders?” There is no one, no one like our YAH, no one like our ABBA Father. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for Your Torah, Your divine instructions in moral and righteous living, which is also my handbook for life.  Your Torah is the mirror that I look into, yearning to see the reflection of my Messiah looking back at me.  Thank You, ABBA, that You are faithful to complete the work You have started in me, bringing me always closer to the desired image of Yeshua.  You are the Elohei Mikkarov, the Elohim Who is Near, and I adore You …Amein

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is instructing me on the ‘how’ to be selective in my hearing.  There is much deceptive information available to me, and evil reports abound; however, I must choose what I will sh’ma, hear and obey.  Today, my Father, I make the choice of whose report I will believe:  I believe the Word of my Elohim, which remains forever!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the wind, air that You have put into motion by Your breath.  I am thankful for the cool breeze of a hot summer day, a gust of wind scattering autumn leaves, and a strong wind that blows smog and air pollutants clear out of our state.  I am thankful for the Ruach haKodesh, the set-apart, holy breath of the Living Elohim, who is, among other things, the Spirit of TRUTH, and who will always bring to my mind all the words of my Master Yeshua.  May the wind of the Spirit reveal all of the pollutants that I am still nursing within me, and assist me in blowing them all AWAY!  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the Universe, who IS wisdom, and gives me wisdom, when I ask in faith, believing I receive.  Thank You, my Elohim, for YOUR unfailing and never ending wisdom.  When I stop to consider all of this, You are teaching me simple, common sense, the practical application of the knowledge You have given me.  How awesome are Your ways, YAH, and Your patience with me! What an amazing ABBA Father You are, for You are training me in the way I should go!  Hallelu-YAH!

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who will allow thick clouds to blow through my life, even when I know the sun is shining.  With all of these storm clouds, ABBA, You are teaching me, more and more, the importance of emunah, complete and total trust in You, my Creator, and in Your care.  When darkness surrounds me, I know that You are the Light.  When my body is wracked with pain, I know You are my Healer.  And when troubles surround me on every side, I know that You are my Deliverer!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the beginning and originator of life. You are the One that created and formed me within my mother’s womb, and You are the One that gave me breath as I burst forth into this world.  You are the song that rises within my heart, as I contemplate Your hand evident throughout the pages of my life.  Truly, You are my Elohei Tehiullati, the God of my praise, for You have been on my right hand and on my left.  You have gone before me, and You have been my rear-guard, always watching over me.  My Abba, may my life be an acceptable worship to You … Amein. Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has appointed special times throughout the year as YOURtimes, Your set-apart convocations, Your feast days. Thank You, Father, for each one, those in the spring, and those in the fall. And thank You, my Elohim, for continuing to teach me the importance and significance of these times. Forgive me, ABBA, for my stumbling attempts to honor You in and through these special days … Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has blessed me with the ability to hear. To be able to hear the multitude of different sounds that You have created – from the whisper of a gentle breeze in the tree tops, to the roaring thunder of the majestic Niagara Falls – I give You thanks, YAH, for this gift. Hearing, I hear Your voice, the still, small voice with which You lead and guide me. Thank You, ABBA, for all of Your words of love and encouragement – words that I treasure and keep close to my heart. May I always be like the young Samuel, and respond with: “Speak, for Your servant hears.”

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my King, for the Shabbat, this set-apart day, when I can lay the week aside, and spend my time with You. I choose, this day, to enter into Your gates with thanksgiving, and come into Your courts with praise.  I choose to be thankful to You, and to bless Your Name.  And I thank You, my Father, that You are good; Your mercy is everlasting, and Your faithfulness is to generation and generation.  Hallelu-YAH!

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is always at work in me, perfecting those things that concern me, bringing forth the image of Your Son. You cultivate, fertilize, and prune, all the while assisting my fruit to maturity, reflecting the love of the One who died to set me free. I love You, ABBA, for You are the El-Shaddai, the AllSufficient One, and I find my sufficiency in You. And I yield, Master, to the work that You are doing in and through me … Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who teaches me how to love and care for others. You continually stress to me that all are created in Your image, and must be regarded with due respect and honor.  Thank You, ABBA, that while You encourage me in the doing of acts of chêsêd, spontaneous acts of kindness and mercy, I learn that chêsêd is truly “loving my neighbor as myself”. By extending my hands, and myself, in kindness and willing assistance, I act as Your ambassador, and share Your love with others.
“He has declared to you, O man, what is good. And what does יהוה[YHWH] require of you but to do right, and to love kindness [chêsêd], and to walk humbly with your Elohim?”
