Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has commanded me to follow Your example of honoring and setting apart the Shabbat. Thank You, my Father, that as I learn more of You and Your ways, I learn to appreciate this place in time where I come to meet with You, my Creator. Thank You, ABBA, for spending time with me! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who teaches me to TASTE my words before they leave my mouth. You reveal to me the importance of speaking LIFE, not death, of speaking GOOD, not evil, and of speaking ENCOURAGEMENT, not destructive criticism to those around me. For You have also revealed to me, my Elohim, that the principal of sowing and reaping applies to the words that I speak: whatsoever I sow, that will I also reap. Thank YOU, my “El Hanne’eman”, my Faithful Elohim, that I have LIFE, and life more abundantly!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the author and originator of all the many inventions designed to make my life easier. Today, I want to thank You, ABBA, for the vehicle I drive. Modern transportation is amazing, and is truly convenient in getting from one place to another without a great length of time. I thank You, my Elohim, that Your hand is upon our family vehicles, keeping them operating without unnecessary breakdowns. I praise and thank You, Father, for this gift of transportation! Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who not only gives me ears to hear with, but also gives me the ability to distinguish between all of the different sounds, and the distance between one sound and another. From the nearness of a baby’s cry, to the far away dog barking over the hill, all of these sounds are distinct in their own way. Yet it is YOUR voice, YAH, that is the most precious sound of all – from the still, small sound, to the roar that is like many waters – Your voice, that strikes the chord within my heart. Speak, YAH, for Your servant listens!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who reigns! You are the “Melekh Hakavod”, the King of Glory, and You rule and reign without question. Truth and justice are the foundations of Your kingdom, and Your throne is an eternal one. The scepter with which You rule is one of righteousness, and only You are worthy, my Elohim, to reign IN and OVER the affairs of men. I yield, I surrender, I bow down to YOU, my King of Kings, and I welcome Your reign in MY life. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has provided for me LIBERTY, a freedom from bondage, and a release from slavery. I give You thanks, my Deliverer and Redeemer, for this freedom that I can only find IN and THROUGH You. Thank You, ABBA, for showing me that liberty is not necessarily independence; TRUE liberty is total dependence upon YOU, my Creator and King. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has hand chosen the people You desire to be a part of my life. As iron sharpens iron, each person is a part of my life for YOUR purpose, and I thank You, ABBA, for the richness each one has brought. Friendship is a treasured relationship, for not only is there the bond of YHWH as Father, but there is the added joy of each other’s company. Thank You, YAH, for each one of my friends that You have brought into my life, and I speak blessings over them, this day, the day that YOU have made! Hallelu-YAH!
“that I shall certainly bless you …”

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created, sanctified, and KEPT the first Shabbat.  Thank You, my Father, for this special place in time, where I come, as part of Your Bride, to BE with You. I acknowledge, ABBA, that You are the “Elohei Kedem”, the Eternal Elohim, and my delight is IN You. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my place of refuge in times of distress. You are my High Tower, my fortified city, my shelter from the storm, my Deliverer and my Savior. When chaos threatens to overwhelm me, as a flash flood in a torrential downpour, You are the “Sar Shalom”, the Prince of Peace, who brings order to the chaos and distress. I would rather dwell in YOUR house, my King, than anywhere else imaginable …Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is THE source of the wisdom and knowledge from where all our modern technology is birthed. From cell phones to computers, e-mail to voice mail, You have created ways for us to communicate with one another that is amazing! And in spite of all this advanced communication, YOU remain as close as a ‘whisper’, as near as the end of my fingertips. You are “Elohei Mikkarov”, the Elohim Who is Near, the One who answers when I call. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gifted me with the man I call ‘husband’. I thank You, Father, that first and foremost, he is YOUR child, one that follows hard after You, and desires YOUR will in his life. I thank You, ABBA, for his love, his mercy, his compassion, and his patience – all fruit of YOUR Ruach within him. I praise YOU, ABBA, for the joy and the fun that we have in our relationship with each other. And I am very well pleased to dwell with him. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created not only the ‘valleys’, but the ‘mountains’ as well. Thank You, ABBA, for the instructions and lessons learned as You walk me THROUGH the valleys, revealing to me that there would be no valleys without the mountains around them. Thank You, my Father, for the amazing panorama from the top of each mountain, where every element of the climb can be seen in its proper perspective. I thank You, my Elohim, my Creator, for the wisdom You display when YOU choose the path for me to climb, knowing it will perfect those things that concern me. I stand in awe of Your care, Your concern, for ME …Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me eyes to SEE with. Thank You, Father, that as I watch the rising sun at the dawn of a new day, I am able to see clearly the wonderful color palate You use throughout this world. To look up into the night sky, with its millions of lights visible to the naked eye, is absolutely amazing. To look upon the relaxed face of my spouse while he sleeps, grabs my heart with joy. Thank You, ABBA, for this special gift of sight; may it be something I never take for granted. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me, continually, the meaning of patience.  Your Word tells me that when I am impatient, I will act foolishly, and that is NOT my desire.  Thank You, ABBA, You are not only teaching me to WAIT, but You are also teaching me to enjoy the waiting.  It is in the waiting that my strength is renewed, and my “emunah”, my belief and trust in You, is confirmed.  My heart overflows with Your goodness …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the Universe, who has sanctified me with Your commandments, and gave me Your holy Sabbath as a heritage, a memorial of the work of creation. For it is the day beginning for holy convocations, a memorial of the Exodus from Egypt, reminding me You chose me and sanctified me from among the nations. Blessed are You, Adonai, who sanctifies the Shabbat. AMEIN.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has shown me, by the example of YOUR life, the heart of the ‘servant’. You gave all that was of YOU, laid it at the Father’s feet, and became obedient to every desire and direction that came from the throne of YHWH.  Because of Your willing obedience, ABBA Father has now given You a name that is highly exalted – “that at the Name of יהושע[Yeshua] every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue should confess that יהושע[Yeshua] Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father.” May Your example of willing servanthood fill me with the longing to walk as YOU walked, do as YOU did, serve as YOU served …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who rescues me from the hands of the evil one. The snare of the fowler cannot hold me captive, because YOU, my Master, are the Elohim who came to set the captives free.  Set free from the all the bondage of the enemy, I become, my Father, YOUR willing servant, serving You with all of my heart, all of my mind, all of my soul, and all of my strength. I worship You, the “El Gibbor”, the MIGHTY Elohim, and I thank You. AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gently calls to me to come, come and fellowship, come and let You LOVE on me. It never ceases to amaze me that You might desire my company more than I desire Yours, and Your presence is the one place that I can never get enough of. You are the very breath that I draw, the very beat of my heart. “For a day in Your courts Is better than a thousand days. I have chosen rather to be a doorkeeper In the House of my Elohim, Than to dwell in the tents of the wrong.” “Elohim Chayim”, You are the LIVING Elohim, and I honor You. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who forgives all of my sins and iniquities. I must first, my Father, come to You in a state of “teshuva”, of genuine, heart-felt repentance, recognizing and acknowledging what it is I have done to displease You, and then committing myself to never doing it again. When I have done this, You forgive me, and then no longer remember what it was that I did/said! Your mercy, compassion and favor is always amazing, and I can never thank You enough.
