Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who will occasionally allow me to wander THROUGH a dry and lonely place. Thank You, my Father, for these desert times, for these are the times when I draw even closer to You, rely on You that much more, seek You that much harder. And as I continue to walk in “emunah”, in faith and trust, I KNOW that You have not abandoned me, for You have promised to be with me, always. Thank You, ABBA, for the lessons learned in these dry places, for I understand that You are completing that work that You began in me! Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my “Machseh”, my Refuge. I will say to YOU, YHWH Elohim, You are “my Refuge and my Fortress, my Elohim; I will trust in You.” When troubles surround me on every side, I cling to You, my Father, for You are my shelter in the midst of the storm. Thank You, ABBA, for Your ‘wings’ over me! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe. I thank You, my Father, for a night of sweet, restful sleep, and I thank You that I was able to wake up this morning.  Thank You, ABBA, that You have given me one more day to praise You, thank You, appreciate You, and learn more of You and HOW to walk in Your ways. You are the “Elohei Tehillati”, the Elohim of my Praise! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, ABBA, for dirty dishes. A sink full of dirty  dishes means that the food necessary to sustain me, strengthen me, and nourish me was provided for my household, THIS day. Thank You, my Father, for the ability to prepare what You have provided for me. And thank You for meeting ALL of my need, according to YOUR riches in glory, through my Messiah Yeshua! Hallelu-YAH!!!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my “Esh Okhlah”, my Consuming Fire. You are constantly at work within me, burning up the garbage, that only those things that are of YOU would remain.  Thank You, my Father, for Your purifying fire in my life, bringing me closer to the image of Messiah Yeshua IN me.  Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for the creation of the 7th day Sabbath, a sanctuary in time, where I can come and devote myself to learning more of You, and Your Torah.  “The opening up of Your words gives light, Giving understanding to the simple.“ I am grateful, ABBA, for this oasis of instruction, this eternal covenant with You.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me the importance of humility. You, Abba, are teaching me that vanity, and the promotion of ‘self’, are the polar opposite of humility, and have their root in pride. Thank You, my Father, for though You have gifted me with certain talents, they will only operate to their fullest potential as I remain focused on YOU. You “must increase, while I must decrease.” Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who cautions me frequently about becoming someone who will not accept correction or a reprimand. Thank You, my Father, for those whom You have brought into my life, those whom I trust, that DO give me the ‘correct’ correction, when it is needed. ABBA, please, may I always be willing to hear, and willing to accept, any reproof that comes from You, regardless of the vessel.  Amein and AMEIN.

yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is revealing to me the dangers of a harsh, critical attitude. Excessive criticism has its root in self-exaltation and pride, an attitude that You, my Father, will not tolerate. When I turn my critical eyes inward, and examine myself objectively, honestly, and with humility, I see ‘things’ within myself that I must correct before I can ever THINK about criticizing anyone else. Your instructions remain true: “I must first remove the log from my own eye, before I can successfully remove the splinter from my brother/sister’s eye. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who brings all things to my ‘remembrance’ at the exact moment I need them. The Ruach haKodesh, the HOLY Spirit, is my memory bank, and when I am diligent to listen, and heed, You will speak the words of LIFE that I need to hear. Thank You, my Father, for Your patience with me, as You lead and guide me along this road called life. I know that only as I rely upon Your wisdom can I travel in safety. Amein.
“… and your ears hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the Way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right, or whenever you turn to the left.”

Yom Berekha

This is for all of you 'eclipse watchers' out there ...

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who leads me OUT of ALL darkness and chaos, and IN to YOUR light, Your peace and security. Thank You, ABBA, that You are NOT the author of confusion and insanity.  Thank You, my Messiah King, that You are my “Sar Shalom”, my Prince of Peace in the middle of the storm, and it is in You that I find my security. Hallelu-YAH!!!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is ruler over the days, the nights, the months and the years. Thank YOU, ABBA, for THIS day, for this is the day that YOU have made, and I choose to be glad and rejoice in it. When my life is hid IN You, every day is a NEW beginning. Life with YOU, “Elohim Chayim”, the LIVING Elohim, is NEVER mundane or boring!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has commanded me to follow Your example of honoring and setting apart the Shabbat. Thank You, my Father, that as I learn more of You and Your ways, I learn to appreciate this place in time where I come to meet with You, my Creator. Thank You, ABBA, for spending time with me! Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who teaches me to TASTE my words before they leave my mouth. You reveal to me the importance of speaking LIFE, not death, of speaking GOOD, not evil, and of speaking ENCOURAGEMENT, not destructive criticism to those around me. For You have also revealed to me, my Elohim, that the principal of sowing and reaping applies to the words that I speak: whatsoever I sow, that will I also reap. Thank YOU, my “El Hanne’eman”, my Faithful Elohim, that I have LIFE, and life more abundantly!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the author and originator of all the many inventions designed to make my life easier. Today, I want to thank You, ABBA, for the vehicle I drive. Modern transportation is amazing, and is truly convenient in getting from one place to another without a great length of time. I thank You, my Elohim, that Your hand is upon our family vehicles, keeping them operating without unnecessary breakdowns. I praise and thank You, Father, for this gift of transportation! Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who not only gives me ears to hear with, but also gives me the ability to distinguish between all of the different sounds, and the distance between one sound and another. From the nearness of a baby’s cry, to the far away dog barking over the hill, all of these sounds are distinct in their own way. Yet it is YOUR voice, YAH, that is the most precious sound of all – from the still, small sound, to the roar that is like many waters – Your voice, that strikes the chord within my heart. Speak, YAH, for Your servant listens!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who reigns! You are the “Melekh Hakavod”, the King of Glory, and You rule and reign without question. Truth and justice are the foundations of Your kingdom, and Your throne is an eternal one. The scepter with which You rule is one of righteousness, and only You are worthy, my Elohim, to reign IN and OVER the affairs of men. I yield, I surrender, I bow down to YOU, my King of Kings, and I welcome Your reign in MY life. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has provided for me LIBERTY, a freedom from bondage, and a release from slavery. I give You thanks, my Deliverer and Redeemer, for this freedom that I can only find IN and THROUGH You. Thank You, ABBA, for showing me that liberty is not necessarily independence; TRUE liberty is total dependence upon YOU, my Creator and King. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has hand chosen the people You desire to be a part of my life. As iron sharpens iron, each person is a part of my life for YOUR purpose, and I thank You, ABBA, for the richness each one has brought. Friendship is a treasured relationship, for not only is there the bond of YHWH as Father, but there is the added joy of each other’s company. Thank You, YAH, for each one of my friends that You have brought into my life, and I speak blessings over them, this day, the day that YOU have made! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my place of refuge in times of distress. You are my High Tower, my fortified city, my shelter from the storm, my Deliverer and my Savior. When chaos threatens to overwhelm me, as a flash flood in a torrential downpour, You are the “Sar Shalom”, the Prince of Peace, who brings order to the chaos and distress. I would rather dwell in YOUR house, my King, than anywhere else imaginable …Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is THE source of the wisdom and knowledge from where all our modern technology is birthed. From cell phones to computers, e-mail to voice mail, You have created ways for us to communicate with one another that is amazing! And in spite of all this advanced communication, YOU remain as close as a ‘whisper’, as near as the end of my fingertips. You are “Elohei Mikkarov”, the Elohim Who is Near, the One who answers when I call. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gifted me with the man I call ‘husband’. I thank You, Father, that first and foremost, he is YOUR child, one that follows hard after You, and desires YOUR will in his life. I thank You, ABBA, for his love, his mercy, his compassion, and his patience – all fruit of YOUR Ruach within him. I praise YOU, ABBA, for the joy and the fun that we have in our relationship with each other. And I am very well pleased to dwell with him. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created not only the ‘valleys’, but the ‘mountains’ as well. Thank You, ABBA, for the instructions and lessons learned as You walk me THROUGH the valleys, revealing to me that there would be no valleys without the mountains around them. Thank You, my Father, for the amazing panorama from the top of each mountain, where every element of the climb can be seen in its proper perspective. I thank You, my Elohim, my Creator, for the wisdom You display when YOU choose the path for me to climb, knowing it will perfect those things that concern me. I stand in awe of Your care, Your concern, for ME …Amein.

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me eyes to SEE with. Thank You, Father, that as I watch the rising sun at the dawn of a new day, I am able to see clearly the wonderful color palate You use throughout this world. To look up into the night sky, with its millions of lights visible to the naked eye, is absolutely amazing. To look upon the relaxed face of my spouse while he sleeps, grabs my heart with joy. Thank You, ABBA, for this special gift of sight; may it be something I never take for granted. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me, continually, the meaning of patience.  Your Word tells me that when I am impatient, I will act foolishly, and that is NOT my desire.  Thank You, ABBA, You are not only teaching me to WAIT, but You are also teaching me to enjoy the waiting.  It is in the waiting that my strength is renewed, and my “emunah”, my belief and trust in You, is confirmed.  My heart overflows with Your goodness …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has shown me, by the example of YOUR life, the heart of the ‘servant’. You gave all that was of YOU, laid it at the Father’s feet, and became obedient to every desire and direction that came from the throne of YHWH.  Because of Your willing obedience, ABBA Father has now given You a name that is highly exalted – “that at the Name of יהושע[Yeshua] every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and every tongue should confess that יהושע[Yeshua] Messiah is Master, to the esteem of Elohim the Father.” May Your example of willing servanthood fill me with the longing to walk as YOU walked, do as YOU did, serve as YOU served …

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gently calls to me to come, come and fellowship, come and let You LOVE on me. It never ceases to amaze me that You might desire my company more than I desire Yours, and Your presence is the one place that I can never get enough of. You are the very breath that I draw, the very beat of my heart. “For a day in Your courts Is better than a thousand days. I have chosen rather to be a doorkeeper In the House of my Elohim, Than to dwell in the tents of the wrong.” “Elohim Chayim”, You are the LIVING Elohim, and I honor You. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who forgives all of my sins and iniquities. I must first, my Father, come to You in a state of “teshuva”, of genuine, heart-felt repentance, recognizing and acknowledging what it is I have done to displease You, and then committing myself to never doing it again. When I have done this, You forgive me, and then no longer remember what it was that I did/said! Your mercy, compassion and favor is always amazing, and I can never thank You enough.
