Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who inhabits eternity, for You are the “Elohei Kedem”, the Eternal Elohim. You are without a beginning and without an end, for You are everlasting, endless, and immortal.  You do NOT change, forever You are the same. Thank You, my Father, for WHO You are! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who sounds a warning when I have allowed the “yetzer hara”, the evil impulse within me, to gain the upper hand.  The Sages teach me that this “yetzer hara” is rooted in selfishness, and from it springs disobedience to YOUR will and YOUR Torah. Please, ABBA, help me to cultivate the “yetzer hatov”, the GOOD inclination and impulse, in my life, the one that always seeks to be obedient to Your Word. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who checks me continuously when I allow myself to become ‘irritated’. When irritation takes hold of me, it is because my expectations were not met; for example, someone did not DO what I expected them to do. You are teaching me, my Father, that it is wrong for me to expect others to meet MY standards, for when I do so, I am operating out of the desire to be in control. Forgive me, ABBA, for the wrong expectations I have placed upon others. And help me to be thankful for all that others do that is above and beyond what I could have ever expected. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who continually warns me of the dangers of becoming ‘lukewarm’ in my relationship with You, my Creator. As I know first-hand, it is easy to allow the “cares of this world” to creep in, and just as cholesterol can eventually block my arteries, so too can these ‘cares’ impede and hinder my connection with You, ABBA. Help me, my Elohim, to stay focused on YOU, my “El Hanne´eman”, my Faithful Elohim, focused on You, and Your Torah. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who forms the clouds that move across the sky. From the white, fluffy cumulous clouds to the dark, heavy rain clouds, each one is individual in shape and form. And it is with wonder that I watch them move across the horizon, never to reappear in the same likeness! Amazing is what You are, my Creator, my beginning and my ending. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who consistently reminds me of all of the different ‘things’ I am to ‘guard’, to stand watch over, protect, and keep safe. Found in the list of what to ‘guard’ are: Your commandments, Your Torah; the Sabbath; to not forget YHWH my Elohim; my mouth; knowledge, and to guard myself from idols. Thank You, my Father, for reminding me of WHAT my responsibilities are. And thank You for helping me to treasure what You have given me. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is fine tuning my ability to HEAR. Thank You, ABBA, for the gift of hearing, and all that it encompasses. From the sound of running water over rocks, to the voice of my Beloved whispering to me softly, it all comes through You, my Creator. Help me to always listen for YOUR voice, to not only hear what You desire to speak to me, but to also be quick to perform the corresponding action that is needed. “Sh’ma, O Yisrael …”

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who warns me continually of how useless and pointless ‘arguing’ really is. When I insist on pushing MY point of view on others, MY agenda, I am walking in arrogance and pride, the opposite of the love and compassion that come from You, my Father. Forgive me, my Elohim, for all those times that I just KNEW I was ‘right’. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the Creator of everything that ‘grows’. From the green grass that grows on the hillsides, to the flowers blooming in my yard, to the trees standing sentinel along the creek, to the acres of corn and wheat throughout the county – Father, I appreciate all of Your bounty. From seedtime to harvest, it is ALL the work of Your hands.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who continues to teach me the concept of good stewardship. Because I believe, ABBA, that all that I have is, in reality, YOURS, I know that I am accountable to You in how I care for all that You have entrusted to my hands.  Thank You, my Father, that You are continually showing me how to improve my stewardship, ways that are pleasing to You. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who continually reassures me that YOU are the One who can be trusted. When I am gripped with fear, standing with knees knocking and heart racing, You are there, the “Ha El Hanne’ Azreni Chayil”, the Elohim Who Girds me with Strength. Thank You, my Father, for the many promises in Your Word, promises that mean I will never stand alone, for You are always with me. And I thank You, ABBA, for the many, many times that You have proven to me that You CAN be trusted, that You are true to Your Word. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who allows, and arranges, the tests and trials in my life, to PROVE me, that both of us would know whether or not I will remain true to Your Torah. Though never a source of pleasure, these tests reveal to me the areas in my life that are still under the ‘self-sovereign domain’, and Your Torah will instruct me on how to deal with these issues. The goal is ALWAYS that I might be molded into the image of Messiah Yeshua, with a heart that follows completely after my King. For I am “persuaded of this, that He who has begun a good work in me shall perfect it until the day of יהושע[Yeshua] Messiah.” Amein and AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created and set-apart the Sabbath as a day of REST. Thank You, my Father, that as I cease from my labors on this day, and devote my time to spend with You, You acknowledge this eternal covenant that I have with You.  And as I strive to meditate on Your Word and Your ways, You open the eyes of my understanding, that I might learn of the hope to which You have called me. “O יהוה[YHWH], our Master, How excellent is Your Name in all the earth!”

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who warns me of the dangers of boasting and bragging. I must NOT ‘blow my own horn’, for in so doing, I set myself in the place of an idol. All of this has its root in pride and arrogance, which is something You, my Father, detest. May I always remain humble in Your sight, may the awe and reverence that I have for You, my Creator, guide my every action. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my ultimate example in ‘giving’. Because of the amazing, unconditional love that You have for me, Your child, You allowed Your Son, Yeshua HaMashiach to suffer a horrible death in my place – all that I might be restored to a right and proper relationship with You. Help me, ABBA, to not only love as You love, but to also give as YOU give, because I “have received without paying, I give without being paid.”

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the Creator of all the medical knowledge that is currently in the world today. Thank You, my Father, that should I have need of all this knowledge and experience, You will always lead me to the doctor of YOUR choosing. Thank You, ABBA, that ultimately, healing comes from Your hand. My trust is in You, my soon coming King! Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the Creator of everything that lives, moves, and has breath. In spite of the vastness of this universe, You are mindful of me individually, You number every hair upon my head, and You call me by name! You care about my needs, my wants, my pains, my joys, and when I am careful to delight myself IN You, You are gracious to give to me the desires of my heart. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created and formed the family unit. I thank You, ABBA Father, that I can look to You as my example of what a parent should be, and should do. As my role model and mentor, You relay to me directions and instructions through Your Word. Let me always have ears to hear, and a heart that is willing to receive what You would say to me, as I persevere in this task of raising my children in the nurture and admonition of my Elohim. AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my hiding place, the Parent whom I run to when I am lost, wounded, or afraid. It is to the Everlasting Arms that I run to for comfort, knowing that only in the shadow of THE “El Shaddai”, El, the ALL-sufficient El, am I safe and secure. Thank You, ABBA, for the rest and refreshing that comes from time spent in YOUR presence, and thank You for Your ‘shalom’, Your peace that will always surpass all understanding, keeping me in Messiah Yeshua, my Lord, my Adon. Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who generously pours into me the pure wisdom from above, when I come to You asking in faith, knowing well my lack. Included within this wisdom is the ability to discern and recognize exactly WHOSE voice belongs to whom, for Your sheep KNOW the voice of their “Roeh”, their Shepherd, and HIM only will they follow. Thank You, ABBA, that You are continually refining my hearing, checking me when all is not right, that I would not be deceived or misled into something that did not come from You. You care so deeply for those who belong to You, why would anyone turn away from Your loving arms?

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for the sound of rain on a tin roof, a sound that is warm and comforting. With the sound of the rain comes the knowledge that my garden is watered, the pastures will remain green, and there is no drought in my world. Thank You, ABBA, for the rain! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the FRIEND that sticks closer than a brother. By Your example, You have taught me what loyalty and faithfulness is, for You were the One who willingly laid down Your life, not just for Your friends, but so that ALL might have the opportunity to be reunited with You. Thank You, my Father, that You are always with me, teaching and showing me how to BE that faithful, loyal and true friend that YOU desire me to be. In Yeshua’s Name, I yield to YOUR work in me … Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the institution we know as marriage.  You determined, according to Your Word, that marriage was to be a committed relationship between one man and one woman, not only for the purpose of procreation, but also because “It is not good for a man to be alone.  Thank You, ABBA, that when this relationship is lived out in accordance to Your Torah, each individual truly does complete the other, and the two become “echad”, ONE.  And thank You, my Elohim, for this example You have set in place of what my relationship with You is to be like, YOU, my Creator, my Master, and my soon coming KING!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  You have graciously provided for me the ability to communicate, first with You, my Father, and then with others in my immediate environment. I communicate primarily with my voice, but I also use my hands, my eyes, facial expressions, and let me not forget the written word! So many different methods of communication, ABBA, and You are the Creator of them all. To say ‘thank you’ seems almost mundane …

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who POURS out Your anointing, Your gifting, into those who are called by Your Name. You fill each individual with gifts and talents, polish and perfect them, all for YOU to use for Your own designs and purposes. Your anointing, my Father, is a precious, holy, set-apart thing, something to be treasured, and never to be taken lightly. Thank You, my YHWH Elohim, for the oil with which You anoint my head, that my cup may overflow continually. I am careful to give YOU all of the honor, praise, and glory due YOUR Name … Halleu-YAH!

Thank You, my Father, for THIS day, Your gift to me, that I might spend it with You. Your love and care, Your thoughtfulness and compassion, are amazing. I stand in awe, ABBA. Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who burns within me, lighting a fire that only YOU can satisfy and extinguish. By Your living fire, You sanctify me, cleanse me, burning up and away all the dross and impurities that hinder and pollute. By Your fire, You guide me, revealing to me the path that You have chosen for me to walk upon. And IN Your fire I am consumed, for there I find the love of my YAH, and the safest, most secure place I would ever want to be. You are my “El Chaiyai”, the God of my LIFE. May MY life reflect the fire of YOUR love …Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is worthy of all praise, honor and glory!
