Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me hands with which I can touch, hold, handle, and feel. Thank You, ABBA, for being able to hold my husband’s hand, as we walk down the hill. I give You thanks, my Father, for the ability to pet my dog, running my hand down his smooth coat. And thank You, my Elohim, that when I stick my hand in the shower to judge the temperature of the water, I can sense when it is too hot, or too cold. Above all, I am able to stretch out my hands to YOU, in praise, adoration, worship, and thanksgiving. Truly, I am awesomely and wonderfully made, and I stand in awe of my Creator, blessed be HE!  Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for all of the different forms of POWER, from electricity, to solar, wind, hydro-electric, and even to the burning of fossil fuels. It is amazing to me that all of these can be channeled to better serve mankind – even to the running of my household appliances! I recognize and understand that all wisdom and knowledge has its source in YOU; therefore, all of this technology comes from Your hand! Thank You, ABBA, that I do NOT have to scrub my clothes on a washboard! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who thunders Your majesty from the heavens, and lights up the sky with Your brilliance. You give me rain in its due season, and I am thankful for each drop of water poured out on the thirsty ground. You, my Father, give me spiritual rain for my thirsty soul, to feed me, renew me, refresh me, and re-fill me as I continue in my journey with You. I drink, ABBA, I drink from YOUR cup, and savor each and every drop of the heavenly dew. How sweet is the taste!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who warns me of the evil called ‘envy’. You have shown me, ABBA, that envy does not ONLY concern material ‘things’, but can also target situations, circumstances, people, and even the gifting and calling that You, my Elohim, have placed upon others. Thank You, my Father, that You are teaching me to be content in any and ALL situations, knowing that YOU, my Creator, are firmly in control. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me the importance of being STILL, of being quiet. As I sat this morning on my porch, I realized how loud the stillness can be, if I would only pay attention and listen. It is in the quiet, when my mind and body are calm and still, that I hear the sound of Your voice, ABBA, the loudest. It is when You take me by the hand, lead me beside the still waters, that I hear You say, “Peace, be still!” And then I KNOW that You are Elohim, MY Elohim … Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who reminds me that Shabbat is also a time to reflect on my passage OUT of Egypt, and all that You, my Father, have delivered me from. This is just one of the reasons to celebrate Shabbat, and to rest, ABBA, in Your embrace. Thank You, my “El Gibbor”, my MIGHTY Elohim, for all that You have delivered me from. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, king of the universe, who continues to encourage me through Your Word, Your Torah. By studying Your example, I learn how important it is to BE one who encourages, edifies, and exhorts. You tell me my words must be a source of LIFE, not death, and that only by taming and disciplining my mouth do I reveal myself to be a mature child of Yours. Help me, ABBA, to encourage as I desire to be encouraged. Let me learn to be generous with my brother, my sister, when they stumble and become discouraged. Let my hand be always willing to take theirs, and my shoulder willing to help bear the burden, as we walk this walk with You. In Yeshua’s NAME … Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created me, formed me, fashioned me within my mother’s womb. Thank You, my Father, that I was never ‘an accident’, that You always had a plan and purpose for my life. Help me, ABBA, to reach the full potential that YOU believe I have. In the Name of my Messiah King, Yeshua of Nazareth, amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who by YOUR example, is teaching me to love those who hate and despise me. Only through Your love IN me, and because of all that You do FOR me, am I able to learn to love those around me, to BE the light that You desire me to be. May I always extend the hand of mercy in Your Name, ABBA, that all would know to whom I belong, the “El Rachum”, the Elohim of Compassion. Amein, and amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who leads me TO the still, calm waters. When the waves of this world are flooding the boat, and everything appears to be sinking fast, here You are, walking on the water, reminding me WHO is in control. You speak, and the storms of life obey Your Word. My eyes remain focused on You, the “El Elyon”, the MOST HIGH Elohim, while this world, as I know it, spins like a whirlwind. I know that You have YOUR way, even in the whirlwind …Thank You, ABBA, that You will never betray one who trusts in You. AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who brings YOUR light to me when I find myself in darkness. You are the LIGHT of the world, and when I turn to You with everything in me, I cannot continue long in the darkness. I may travel THROUGH the valley of the ‘shadow’ of death, but YOU, my Father, lead me, and You NEVER abandon me. My trust is IN You, my focus is ON You, the “Elohei Mikkarov”, the Elohim Who is Near. I thank You, I praise You, I honor You, and I love You, my ABBA Father.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, whose hand is filled with MERCY. When You tip Your hand, mercy runs over, saturating me thoroughly; I stand in awe of an Elohim that loves me that much. Lovingkindness – “chêsêd” - is Your favor that I do not deserve, but MERCY is Your unconditional, never-ending love that You give to generation after generation. Every morning Your mercy is new, and I thank You, praise You, that Your mercy NEVER runs dry! You are my “El Chaiyai”, the Elohim of my Life, and I ADORE You!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has revealed to me that how I consider the Sabbath will, in turn, indicate who and what I am. If the 7th day Sabbath is holy, sanctified, and set-apart in my life, then this attitude confirms that I am a set-apart child of the Living Elohim, the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  Thank You, my Father, for this special day that shows the world to whom I belong! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the LIVING Elohim, who is ALIVE! You are not a fable, a dream, or a vapor, but You are an El who IS. You are not a god of stone, or a statue to worship, something that is dead and dormant. You are YHWH, who is very much alive, who fills every part of the universe that You created, yet is still concerned about the sparrow that falls to the ground. You are the “Elohim Chayim”, the LIVING God, the Elohim who breathes LIFE into ME on a daily basis. I worship YOU, my King and Creator! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  My Father, I ask that, according to Your Word, You would “give me understanding in all things”. I recognize and appreciate that all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding originates with You; help me, ABBA to understand more of Your Word, Your Torah, Your ways, and this walk that I am on. Please, my Elohim, let me not be “blown and carried about by every wind of false doctrine of men, who through their craftiness are very skillful in deceiving the people”. Thank You, YAH, that You “watch over all who love You”. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who hears my EVERY prayer. You hear it when it is nothing more than a whisper; You hear it when I cry as loud as I can; and You hear it when it is nothing more than silence deep within my innermost being. You may not always answer my prayers in the way I think You should, but I acknowledge that Your ways are higher than my ways, and Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts. I submit to YOUR wisdom, ABBA, for I know that You are the source of all wisdom, and in Your wisdom, You want only the best for me. I love You, my Avi, my Father.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who teaches me the importance of tasting my words BEFORE I speak. Thank You, ABBA, for the classroom of the Ruach haKodesh, the Holy Spirit, where it is revealed to me the power of the spoken word. May all my words be words of LIFE, words that edify and bring encouragement, words that heal and comfort, words that echo the Father’s love. Let no corrupt and evil speech issue from my lips, but only what is pleasing to You, “Adonai Elohai Kedosi”, my Elohim, my HOLY Elohim.
“O יהוה[YHWH], set a guard for my mouth; Watch over the door of my lips.”

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the ability to LAUGH. Thank You, my Father, for the well of laughter that bubbles from deep inside my being, overflowing to all around me. And thank You, ABBA, for the ability to laugh at myself, at some of the downright silly things I have said and done. You tell me that laughter is good for me, for “a rejoicing heart causes good healing”!   Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my “vine-dresser”. You are the One, my Father, who tenderly prunes me, cutting of those branches that do not bear fruit according to Your standards. And You are the One, ABBA, who carefully leads me to the fertilizer that is Your Word, Your Torah, in order that I might grow, and bear the GOOD fruit. Thank You, my Father, for all of Your care. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created ONE day out of seven to be YOUR day, “kadosh” and set-apart. Thank You, ABBA, for the Shabbat, where I can focus completely on improving my relationship with You. Thank You for the rest and refreshing that comes from spending the day with You, charging my ‘battery’ to face the coming week. I honor You, the “El Chaiyai”, the Elohim of MY Life, for all that You do … AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who alerts me of DANGER when I allow myself to become offended. Thank You, my Father, for showing me that when I become offended, I am not loving my neighbor as myself, as You have instructed me to do. I am reminded, ABBA, that I am NOT to think of myself first, but last, and in so doing, all offenses will vanish. AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me the ability to ‘hear’. From the sweet sound of birds singing, to the howling of the wind, these are all sounds that are special in their way. My Father, may I always “sh´ma”, hear AND obey, the voice of Your Word, Your Torah, speaking to me. AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the Sun, Moon, and ALL the host of heaven.  You set each one of them in their appointed place, called each one by name, and gave each a purpose, a destiny.  Nothing in the heavens moves without YOUR knowledge, without YOUR consent, and according to YOUR plan. You are “Elohei Kedem”, the ETERNAL Elohim, and You reign and rule forever! Hallelu-YAH!
