Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who saturates me with loving-kindness. ABBA, You are the parent who never condemns me for trying, but continually, through Your love, patience and kindness, guide me into making RIGHT choices and decisions. You have taught me, through Your example with me, how to extend this hand of patience and kindness towards others, for we all make mistakes. None of us are infallible, only YOU, our “El Tsaddik”, our Righteous Elohim, will never make a mistake!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who leads me OUT of ALL darkness and chaos, and IN to YOUR light, Your peace and security. Thank You, ABBA, that You are NOT the author of confusion and insanity.  Thank You, my Messiah King, that You are my “Sar Shalom”, my Prince of Peace in the middle of the storm, and it is in You that I find my security. Hallelu-YAH!!!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who loves ME. Even before I ever knew You, when I was doing everything contrary to Your Torah, Your Word, Your hand was on me, protecting me, keeping me safe. And when I had finally reached the point of no return, You heard the cry of my heart, the repentance, and helped me to make “teshuva”, the turning, walking now in YOUR ways. I call You ABBA, Father, and the wonder of Your unconditional love is beyond comprehension. I love You, my Elohim – may Your light and love shine THROUGH me for all to see …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me another beautiful Shabbat to enjoy, to set apart and sanctify, and to worship You in and through it. I thank You, my Father, that I follow YOUR example, as I rest on this, the seventh day. I realize the 7th day Shabbat IS an ordinance, AND a blessing, something that has never been revoked or annulled, and I rejoice in another opportunity to be obedient to You, my ABBA Father. I honor YOU, my Elohim, as Master of THIS day, Master of the Sabbath. Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is SEES everything that concerns me, everything about ME and my life. You are my “El Roi”, the Elohim Who SEES, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. You also see the end from the beginning, and all that is in between. You see when I stumble and fall, and You are always right there to pick me up again. You see when my hand reaches out for You, knowing that I can never walk through this valley without You. Thank You, my ABBA, that I can rely on Your eyesight when travelling through the darkness, knowing that You will never lead me out of Your will for my life. I adore You, my ABBA, my Elohim, my YAH …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are you, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given to me Your Torah. These are the instructions and teachings of YOUR Word, instructions in righteousness that I can build my life upon, a foundation that has stood firm and strong through the test of time.  Thank You, my Father, for the Ruach HaKodesh, the HOLY Spirit of Elohim, who opens WIDE the eyes of my understanding, teaching me, leading me, and revealing to me the hidden things from Your amazing Word! I delight in Your Word, and I treasure it above all else! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who firmly, but gently, pulls me back when I wander too far down the path of self-exaltation. Thank You, my Father, for those checks and yellow lights when I get too full of myself. Help me remember that I must decrease, in order that YOU, the “Elohim Chayim”, the LIVING Elohim, may increase. May I never forget that I live to give You glory, to exalt and honor YOU.  Amein.

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me a habitation, a dwelling place, a place to call home while I sojourn upon this earth. I understand that what I see at the present is not my eternal home, my final destination. However, You, ABBA, have provided for me, in Your mercy, a place where I can dwell, a sanctuary, where I can rest at the end of each day. I thank You, my Elohim, for the security of a place where I was able to raise my children, a place where I can close the door on the cares of this world, and fellowship with You, and with my family. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard the things You have laid up for me, my wonderful Father!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created all types of musical instruments. From the wind instruments, to those with strings, to percussion, and all in between, Father, what an amazing symphony when all play in harmony! Thank You also, my Creator, for all of those who are gifted in the playing of these instruments, for surely music is sweet to Your ears. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for the silence. Thank You, ABBA, for the quiet times, when nothing moves, and no sounds are heard. Thank You, YHWH my Elohim, that when I sit and listen to ‘nothing’, these are the special times when I sense Your presence that much more. And it is ONLY “In Your presence is joy to satisfaction”. Hallelu-YAH!!!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for the Shabbat, a day in which You restore me, refresh me, as I come and sit at Your feet.  Thank You, ABBA, for this time of fellowship with You, a special time where I learn more of You, and Your ways.  May my eyes, ears and heart always be open to what You have for me to feast on. AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who hand-picked all the instructors and teachers you wished me to learn from, and those I am STILL learning from. Step by step, line upon line, precept by precept, You have shown me those I was to walk with, observe, and allow to mentor and disciple me. And You have been faithful to reveal to me when each season was fulfilled and completed, and all of the knowledge absorbed. Thank YOU, my ABBA, for the lesson You have taught me concerning the safety in submission, for as I submit to You, and those who have the rule and authority over me, I will always be in right relationship with You. My “El Hanne’eman”, my Faithful Elohim, as long as my hand remains in Yours, I know that my steps will always be ordered aright. Hallelu-YAH!

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe. My desire, my Father, is to be a blessing to You in all that I say, all that I do, and all that I write. Make of my life a praise to You, my King of Kings. AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gave me Your TORAH, Your Word, Your instructions, Your teachings, Your directions for me to follow. Thank You, my Father, for Ruach haKodesh, the HOLY Spirit, who is my teacher, guiding me in the ways of holiness and righteousness. ABBA Father, let the life that I live SPEAK loudly, that all would KNOW to whom I belong. In the Name that is above all names I pray, Yeshua of Nazareth, our Messiah King, AMEIN!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who continues to bring me THROUGH. You, my Father, walk with me through the valley of death, through the rivers that threaten to drown me, through those desert areas where many lessons are learned, and through the fires that continue to burn away the dross. Thank You, ABBA, that You never abandon me. And I thank You, my Elohim, that as I continue on this journey through, You are at work IN me, completing what You started in me.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Today, my Father, I just want to say ‘thank You’ for everything You have done: for me, to me, in me, and through me. I am continually amazed at the evidence of Your work in my life. The saying proves true: sometimes I need to look in the rearview mirror to see how far I have really come. Help me, ABBA, to continue to run this race with endurance, always looking to YOU, my Creator, who is the author and perfecter of my “emunah”, my faith.  Amein …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who reveals to me the importance of releasing EVERY hurt and offense, real or imagined. You have shown me that I cannot nurse these offenses, hold them close to my heart, for they will become a cancer, and ultimately destroy me. Looking to the example of Messiah Yeshua, I must choose to release every hurt and offense, and walk in complete forgiveness toward others – then and only then can You forgive me for all of my sins and failures.  ABBA – Father – forgive me for all that I have held on to, in my self-righteousness and pride. Thank You for cleansing me, THIS day, as I walk in newness of life, life everlasting, and joy unspeakable. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the 7th day Shabbat. You sanctified it, and set it apart, a commandment that is for all eternity. Thank You, ABBA, that as I am faithful to cling to Your instructions concerning THIS day, I confirm to everyone that I am in covenant with You. How special Your Shabbat is, this holy – “kadosh” – day! Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who designed my mouth with ‘taste buds’! Thank You, my Father, for the ability to differentiate and enjoy a multitude of flavors, from the first cup of coffee in the morning, to fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade apple pie (with ice cream), garden fresh vegies, and a juicy, ripe peach. Best of all flavors is You, ABBA, for Your Word tells me I am to “taste and see that יהוה[YHWH] is good.” All honor to You, my Creator, for as I linger and savor the taste of You and Your Torah, I am blessed for taking refuge in You. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is in the business of ‘character development’.  Through each trial, situation and circumstance, You are refining me, removing more of the excess baggage that is not conducive to my walk with You. I thank You, my Father, that as I see more and more of the dross being stirred up, I KNOW “who is perfecting all matters for me.”  Thank You, ABBA, that You will never leave me ‘halfbaked’!  Hallelu-YAH

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who not only brings fresh mercy every morning, but also fresh joy with each sunrise. As I continue to yield to You, my Father, in love and obedience, YOUR joy overflows IN and THROUGH my life - the praise rises up, YAH, for that is what my purpose is! So worthy are You, ABBA Father, to receive ALL praise, honor, and glory!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is always at work IN me, perfecting all the many things that concern me. Your goal, Your purpose, is to see the image of Messiah Yeshua, reflected IN and THROUGH me. And my desire is to reveal more and more of Your likeness, Your LIGHT, that the world would KNOW to whom I belong. Thank You, my Father, that while I surrender to Your work within me, I will still burn brightly on the lampstand that YOU have placed me on. YOU are my light, for there is NO darkness IN You … Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the definition and example of LOVE. I look to You, my Father and Creator, who loves me IN SPITE of all the situations and circumstances I find myself in. I look to You, Messiah Yeshua, for even when I didn’t know who You were, You STILL loved me enough to die for me, to suffer a death more horrible than I can ever imagine. And You love me SO much that You are coming back for me, to gather ALL of Your people together, to honor and worship YOU, my Messiah KING!  Oh, glorious day! Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are YOU, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me the importance of discipline in every area of my life. Discipline and self-control are necessary character traits of the disciple; I must therefore cultivate these two uncomfortable friends, that I might truly be called a ‘disciple of YHWH’. You have clearly said that the one who does not seek to control him/herself is as a city without walls, broken down and destroyed. Help me, “El De’ot”, my Elohim of ALL Knowledge, to submit to the control of YOUR Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh, that the mature fruit of ‘self-control’ would be evident in my life. In HIS name, Yeshua HaMashiach, I pray …

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gave to me, as a gift, a specific day to REST: the 7th day Sabbath. My rest comes from You, for my rest is IN You. To be free from all chaos, strife, and the trials of everyday living is only ONE of the precious gifts You have given to me, and I thank You abundantly. Thank You, my Father, for the Shabbat, the day of rest. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is always working IN me, giving me the desire, my Father, to do YOUR will. I am to work out my own deliverance and salvation with “fear and trembling”, by being obedient to You, and Your Torah. Thank You, ABBA, that You are faithful to finish and complete the work You have begun in me, right up until the return of Messiah Yeshua. Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, as You use circumstances and situations in my life to cultivate and bring forth the FRUIT of the Ruach, the holy Breath of Elohim. I know and understand that as these fruit grow and mature in me, I am displaying more and more of the character of my Adon Yeshua, shining Your light as You desire me to do. Help me to remain focused on YOU, as You prune, fertilize and water, for You know exactly what each facet of this fruit requires in order to ripen to perfection. Help me to trust you even more, as I submit to my Heavenly Gardener, the ultimate Vinedresser, for only as I stay vitally united with You, am I able to bear the fruit that You desire. Amein!

Yom Berekha

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me how to be KIND in all that I do and say. From Your example, my Father, I learn that I can still be firm while yet being kind, and that my words and actions should always be gracious and kind. Oh, my ABBA, may my life reflect the kindness and loving commitment that You use when dealing with me! Amein.
