Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who rested on the seventh day, and blessed it.  The word ‘shabbat’ means to rest, to cease from labor, and I CHOOSE to rest this day, this day that You have sanctified and set apart.  I CHOOSE to honor You, Your Torah, and praise the works of Your hands.  I thank You, ABBA, for this opportunity to joyfully be obedient to Your Torah!  I delight in You, my Father, and Your instructions are never grievous or heavy!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is instructing me about the extent of ‘evil’.  Within the concept of ‘evil’, I find references to rebellion, wickedness, deception, adversity, and all that is not pleasing to You, my Creator.  The opposite of ‘evil’ is good, and I know that to DO good I must follow Your Torah, Your instructions in moral and righteous living.  May my eyes, my hands, and my heart always follow hard after You.  Amein.

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the 'written word', beginning with each letter of the alphabet, to the meanings of each individual word, and including proper sentence structure.  Thank You, my Father, for the ability to READ, to comprehend what all the letters and words mean, and to understand the thoughts You are revealing to me.  And thank You, ABBA, that You continue to open the eyes of my understanding, unfolding wonderful ‘nuggets’ from Your Torah.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who paints the sky with the most beautiful sunrises, and sunsets, that I could ever imagine.  Your color palette, ABBA, is amazing, and as I watch the progression of each event, I stand in awe of Your creation.  Truly, You are “Ha El Osay Pele”, the Elohim who works wonders!  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who continues to reveal to me those elements I am to ‘guard’.    I am to guard MYSELF, that I would never forget or neglect the covenant that I have with YOU, my Father.  I am to guard Your Torah, Your commands, and Your Shabbat.  I am also to diligently guard my own heart, for out of it come the issues of life.  Thank You, ABBA, that You are teaching me to BE that diligent ‘guard’ that You desire me to be!  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who reminds me of the dangers when allowing myself to become offended.  Thank You, my Father, for showing me that when I become offended, I am not loving my neighbor as myself, as You have instructed me to do.  I am reminded, ABBA, that I am NOT to think of myself first, but last, and in so doing, all offenses will vanish.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, for the ability to HEAR.  From the sweet sound of birds singing, to the howling of the wind, these are all sounds that are special in their way.  My Father, may I always “sh´ma”, hear AND obey, the voice of Your Word, Your Torah, speaking to me.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my “vine-dresser”.  You are the One, my Father, who tenderly prunes me, cutting of those branches that do not bear fruit according to Your standards.  And You are the One, ABBA, who carefully leads me to the fertilizer that is Your Word, Your Torah, in order that I might grow, and bear the GOOD fruit.  Thank You, my Father, for all of Your care.  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created, sanctified, and KEPT the first Shabbat.  Thank You, my Father, for this special place in time, where I come, as part of Your Bride, to BE with You.  I acknowledge, ABBA, that You are the “El Chaiyai”, the God of my life, and my delight is IN You.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me the meaning of ‘modesty’.  Thank You, my Father, for revealing to me that modesty is not just about the clothing I wear, it also concerns my behavior, my speech, and my entire lifestyle.  Help me, ABBA, to always reflect the image of my Messiah Yeshua, with the modesty befitting HIS Bride!  Amein!
