Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my “Roeh”, my Shepherd.  I am not in want, for You meet my EVERY need, by Messiah Yeshua.  I thank You, my Father, that goodness and mercy will shadow me all of my days.  And I give you honor and esteem, for according to YOUR Word, I will dwell in the house of my Elohim forever.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who teaches me how to STAND in the face of all of my adversaries, and against all opposition.  It is only when my feet are firmly planted on the Rock of my salvation, when I am leaning against my “El Gibbor”, my Strong and Mighty Elohim, that I know I have the strength and endurance needed.  For it is You, my “YHWH Tzva’ot”, my Lord of Hosts, the Captain of YHWH’s Army, who fights for me, and wins the victory!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me hands with which to touch.  Thank You, my Father, that I can touch the soft petals of a rose, gently stroke the face of a loved one, scratch my dog behind the ear, and most of all, I can lift my hands to give praise to Your Name!  Thank You, ABBA, for hands that perform Your mitzvot, Your commands …Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who covers me with the wings of YOUR shalom, Your peace.  When I recognize and understand what shalom really is – the destruction of all the forces that create chaos – I learn to appreciate Your shalom more and more.  Thank You, my “Sar Shalom”, my Prince of Peace, for WHO You are!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.   Thank You, my Father, that all wisdom originates from You, and You generously give me of Your wisdom when I ask You for it.  You are the One who opens WIDE my understanding, that I might perceive wonders from the depths of Your Torah.  Help me, ABBA, to apply to my life the understanding of the wisdom You have given me.  THIS is walking in Your ways … Amein.

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gifted me with a specific day to REST.  My rest comes from You, for my rest is IN You.  To be free from all chaos, strife, and the trials from everyday living is only ONE of the precious gifts You have given to me, and I thank You abundantly.  Thank You, my Father, for the Shabbat, the day of rest.  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my “Adon Kol-ha’arets”, my Master of ALL the earth.  As I watch international news, I see the nations of this world in chaos, turning this way and that, looking for the ‘quick fix’ that will solve all of their problems.  I look to YOU, my Creator, and I give thanks that YOU are the One in control, and that all of these things must come to pass before THE Day of my Elohim.  May it be soon, ABBA, even in our day …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who desires me to CHANGE from the ‘old man’ into the new.  You NEVER change, but Your intention is for me to put away all of the childish, carnal things of my past, and change into Your bride, someone totally in love with You, and living the lifestyle You have laid out for me in the pages of Your Torah.  Thank You, my Father, that from the caterpillar emerges the butterfly!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created FIRE.  I am learning to be thankful, my Father, for the fires of testing and trial that You allow me to go through.  And though it is never enjoyable, I am learning to recognize the faults, shortcomings, and yes, even the ‘trash’ within myself that these fires reveal.  Your goal for me is the image and character of my Messiah revealed in and through me.  Thank You, my Elohim, my Creator, that You ARE that “Consuming Fire”, burning out all of the dross that lingers within me.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who reveals to me how to make a molehill out of a mountain.  Thank You, my Father, for the reminder that maturity does not come overnight, and it is not the mountain I make it out to be.  I am not to “despise the day of small beginnings”, but I am to ‘keep on keeping on’, day by day, hour by hour, step by step.  And as I continue every day, walking in YOUR Way, I can see the mountain becoming smaller and smaller, until it is finally nothing but a pile of dirt.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who will occasionally allow me to wander THROUGH a dry and lonely place.  Thank You, my Father, for those desert times, for those are the times when I draw even closer to You, rely on You that much more, seek You that much harder.  And as I continue to walk in ‘emunah’, in faith and trust, I KNOW that You have not abandoned me, for You have promised to be with me, always.  Thank You, ABBA, for the lessons learned in those dry places, for I understand that You are completing that work that You began in me!  Amein!

The Fatherheart of God

“As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe].”  (Psalm 103:13 Amp)
“Our Father in Heaven, may YOUR Name always be sanctified.”  (Matthew 6:9 Hebrew Gospel of Matthew)
Our modern society has distorted the image of what biblical fatherhood truly is, and when wives, mothers, and children find a man attempting to live and walk this God-given mandate, it is with honor and respect that we take our hats off to you.  Our world today is filled with one parent homes, single moms (and dads too) trying to raise children who simply do not understand the “why” of the absentee parent, and often take the blame upon themselves for their difficult upbringing.
But this is NOT how our ABBA Father intended it to be.  He is our Heavenly FATHER, and He is the ultimate example of fatherhood that there is.  Tender, yet strong; kind, yet firm; always loving, yet with a firm hand upon the reins of our lives.  When we choose, of our o…

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, ABBA, that You are MY Father, the perfect father, and that I am Your child.  Thank You, my Elohim, for Your love and compassion, Your strength and gentleness, Your firmness and kindness, as You guide me along the path toward maturity.  You stand with arms open wide, and as a toddler learning to walk, I run to You.  Thank You, my Creator, my King, for WHO You are.  Amein.

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gave me Your complete instructions concerning the 7th day Sabbath.  I have six days to work, and to work with, but on this seventh day my focus is to remain on You, Your Word, and Your ways.  Thank You, my Father, for this time that YOU chose and set apart.  May I always honor You IN it, and THROUGH it.  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, that You are the “El Olam”, the everlasting Elohim, who continues forever.  You are the One who IS, who WAS, and who IS TO COME, and You stand outside of the parameters of time.  You, ABBA, are ageless, permanent, incorruptible, and unchanging.   May my hand always rest in Yours, as I walk THE way to eternity … AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who designed my mouth with ‘taste buds’!   Thank You, my Father, for the ability to differentiate and enjoy a multitude of flavors, from the first cup of coffee in the morning, to fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade apple pie, garden fresh vegies, and a juicy, ripe peach.  Best of all flavors is You, ABBA, for Your Word tells me I am to “taste and see that YAHWEH is good.”  All honor to You, my Creator, for as I linger and savor the taste of You and Your TORAH, I am blessed for taking refuge in You.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created me with a MIND, an intellect, inclination and intelligence.  I am in amazement, ABBA, at how quickly my mind plays ‘leap frog’, jumping from one thought to another, without any effort!  Thank You, my Father, that You are training me to take EVERY thought captive, to hold it and examine it against the standard of Your Word, and to discard those that do NOT meet the measure.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is continually instructing me in the difference between a NEED and a WANT.  You have faithfully provided for me all that I NEED – the air I breathe, food, shelter, and clothing – and will always do so.  However, when I begin to confuse my WANTS – a new cell phone, a new pickup, a new horse –as being something that I NEED, again, You are faithful to show me the error of my thinking.  Thank You, my Father, that because my delight is always in You, You DO occasionally grace me with something I want.  And I am very careful, to always, always, be thankful.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are YOU, YHWH our Elohim, King of the Universe, who gently calls me to COME, to fellowship, to commune, to simply BE with You.  I thank You, ABBA, that Your desire for my love and companionship never ends.  While I walk with You in the cool of the evening, I give You thanks, praise, and honor.  I pray, ABBA, that I am never too busy to stop, and simply LOVE You, our “El Hannora”, our AWESOME God!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who provided for me Your Word, Your Torah, Your ‘Memra’.  Thank You, my Father, for the firm foundation that Your Torah gives me, Your divine instructions in moral and righteous living.  Your Word is truth, and it is the standard of truth that I use to judge all else.  And I thank You, ABBA, that Your Word will always accomplish what YOU intend for it to do.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for this special and set-apart day, the Shabbat, when I can come and enter into Your rest.  I am grateful, ABBA, for this time that You ordained, a time when I can linger at Your feet.  Thank You, my Elohim, for the “times of refreshing” that come from Your presence.  Amein.

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given to me the means and the ability to TRAVEL.  Thank You, my Father, that I am able to travel many miles, and even many days, to visit with family, with like-minded brethren, or to simply vacation.  As I travel to and from my destination, may I always watch for Your hand and Your presence.  And may I always be the light You desire me to be.  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created me, formed me, fashioned me within my mother’s womb.  Thank You, my Father, that I was never ‘an accident’, that You always had a plan and purpose for my life.  Help me, ABBA, to reach the full potential that YOU believe I have.  In the Name of my Messiah King, Yeshua of Nazareth, amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me the importance of humility.  You, Abba, are teaching me that vanity, and the promotion of ‘self’, are the polar opposite of humility, and have their root in pride.  Thank You, my Father, for though You have gifted me with certain talents, they will only operate to their fullest potential as I remain focused on YOU.  You must increase, while I must decrease.”  Amein!

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the Creator of all the medical knowledge that is currently in the world today.  Thank You, my Father, that should I have need of all this knowledge and experience, I know that all of it originates from YOU, for healing comes from Your hand.  Thank You, ABBA, that You always lead me to the doctor of YOUR choosing.  My trust is in You, my soon coming King!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has faithfully led me to the teachers and instructors, pastors and leaders, those that YOU have chosen for me to sit under.  Thank You, my Father, for the lessons learned from each one, and for those lessons still to come.  I ask, ABBA, for a fresh anointing upon each one, those individuals that YOU have called, appointed, and anointed.  Thank You, my Elohim.  Amein.

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who took ONE day out of seven, sanctified it, set it apart as special and holy, and gave it to me, Your child and servant.  Thank You, my Father, for THIS day, Your gift to me, that I might spend it with You.  Your love and care, Your thoughtfulness and compassion, are amazing.  I stand in awe, ABBA.  Thank You for WHO You are.  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who continues to bring me THROUGH.  You, my Father, walk with me through the valley of death, through the rivers that threaten to drown me, through those desert areas where many lessons are learned, and through the fires that continue to burn away the dross.  Thank You, ABBA, that You never abandon me.  And I thank You, my Elohim, that You will complete what You started in me, continually working until the Day of my Messiah.  Hallelu-YAH!

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the Sun, Moon, and ALL the host of heaven.  You set each one of them in their appointed place, called each one by name, and gave each a purpose, a destiny.  Nothing in the heavens moves without YOUR knowledge, without YOUR consent, and according to YOUR plan.  You are “Elohei Kedem”, the ETERNAL God, and You reign and rule forever!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who hears my EVERY prayer.  You hear it when it is nothing more than a whisper; You hear it when I cry as loud as I can; and You hear it when it is nothing more than silence deep within my innermost being.  You may not always answer my prayers in the way I think You should, but I acknowledge that Your ways are higher than my ways, and Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.  I submit to YOUR wisdom, ABBA, for I know that You are the source of all wisdom, and in Your wisdom, You want only the best for me. I love You, my Avi, my Father.
