Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for the Shabbat, a day in which You restore me, refresh me, as I come and sit at Your feet.  Thank You, ABBA, for this time of fellowship with You, a special time where I learn more of You, and Your ways.  May my eyes, ears and heart always be open to what You have for me to feast on.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who prepares a banquet table for me to feast from, in peace and safety, while dining sumptuously in the presence of my enemies.  All around me there may be chaos and turmoil, but my ‘Sar Shalom’, my Prince of Peace, calls me to come and dine with HIM from His table, a table filled with wonderful delicacies that He has prepared and set for me. YES, I will dine, and eat my fill from the Master’s table, for only You are the Bread of Life!  Thank You, my Elohim!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who will allow ‘clouds’ to blow through my life, even when I know the sun is shining.  With all of these storm clouds, ABBA, You are teaching me, more and more, the importance of “emunah”, complete and total trust in YOU, my Creator, and in Your care.  When darkness surrounds me, I KNOW that You are the Light.  When my body is wracked with pain, I KNOW You are my Healer.  And when troubles surround me on every side, I KNOW that You are my Deliverer!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my place of refuge in times of distress.  You are my High Tower, my fortified city, my shelter from the storm, my Deliverer and my Savior.  When chaos threatens to overwhelm me, as a flash flood in a torrential downpour, You are the “Sar Shalom”, the Prince of Peace, who brings order to the chaos and distress.  I would rather dwell in YOUR house, my King, than anywhere else imaginable … Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created FAMILY, ‘mispochah’.   I thank You, my Father, for all the members of my immediate blood family, from my husband, all the way down to the youngest grandchild.  And I thank You, ABBA, for all of those You have brought in to our household that are not of our seed, all of the sons and daughters, grandchildren, and even those that I have accepted and appreciated as parents.  I also thank You, my Elohim, for all of the brothers and sisters You have joined me to, through our mutual love for You, the “Elohim Chayim”, the LIVING God.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the most amazing color palate that I could ever imagine!  As I pause and LOOK, I find colors ranging from the deep purple of lilacs, the rich red of a rose, to the canary yellow of daffodils.  And then, when I look up to offer my thanks, I see the blueness of the sky, with clouds of brilliant white!  Oh, my Father, I THANK You for all of the many colors in my world, colors that You created for me to enjoy!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for the seven day week cycle, culminating with Your Shabbat, Your “kadosh”, sanctified, set-apart day.  The seventh day Sabbath brings with it a sense of security and stability, for I know that as long as the earth remains, there will always be the beauty of the Shabbat.  Thank YOU, “El Elyon”, my Most High Elohim, for the security and stability that comes only from Your hand.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has redeemed me from the curse of the law of sin and death.  You have now brought me into the kingdom of Messiah Yeshua, my Savior King, and it is through HIS blood, shed at the whipping post, that I stand in right relationship with You, forgiven, healed and restored.  Because of Your everlasting, eternal love, You continued to draw me, to call to me, until I was able to answer You with the same love that You poured into me.  AMAZING is too small a word to describe Your love!
“Your faithful love is better than life, so my lips praise you.”

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who fills me, fills me to overflowing with Yourself!  You have taken this empty, hollow vessel, poured into it  of Your Ruach, and it is through this fullness that You are teaching me how to live my life according to Your Torah.   Because of Your presence within me, I am able to walk as Your light, and be the city on the hill that You, ABBA, desire me to be.  May I always remember that You are the “MelekhHakavod”, the KING of Glory, and ALL glory belongs to You …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who delivers the one who is upright in heart.  What righteousness I have is FROM You, and I yield to You, as the Master Potter of my life.  BECAUSE I have chosen to cling to You, to stick to You as close as I can, to dwell in the secret place of the most High, I have found safety, security, and rest.  And I KNOW that You are a faithful, covenant keeping Father. You are truly the “El Hannora”, the AWESOME God, and I give You praise!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has appointed special times throughout the year as YOUR times, Your set-apart convocations, Your feast days.  Thank You, Father, for each one, those in the spring, and those in the fall.  And thank You, my Elohim, for continuing to teach me the importance and significance of these times.  Forgive me, ABBA, for my stumbling attempts to honor YOU in and through these special days … Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are YOU, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gives me both rain and snow, in their seasons, to water the earth, causing the earth to become green, and my harvest to grow and multiply.  I thank You, “Avinu Elohim”, Father God, for THIS morning, THIS day, as I wake to see the moisture that we have been in need of.  I thank You for all the plant life that provides nourishment for the animal kingdom, and releases precious oxygen into the atmosphere for me to breathe. Thank You, “Adon Kol-ha’ arets”, Lord of ALL the earth, for Your continuous care!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created and set-apart the Sabbath as a day of REST.  Thank You, my Father, that as I cease from my labors on this day, and devote my time to spend with You, You acknowledge this eternal covenant that I have with You.  And as I strive to meditate on Your Word and Your ways, You open the eyes of my understanding, that I might learn of the hope to which You have called me.  “Oיהוה, our Master, How excellent is Your Name in all the earth!”

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who will reveal those things that have been hidden, and all that has been spoken in secret will come into the light.  Nothing, ABBA, is hidden from Your sight.  Thank You, my Elohim, that every word spoken and every deed that has been done, including all my own, will one day come under the microscope of Your truth, and will be judged accordingly.  Thank You, Father, for the standard of Your truth.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O יהוה, my rock and my redeemer.”

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who brings all things to my ‘remembrance’ at the exact moment I need them.  The ‘Ruach haKodesh’, the HOLY Spirit, is my memory bank, and when I am diligent to listen, and heed, You will speak the words of LIFE that I need to hear.  Thank You, my Father, for Your patience with me, as You lead and guide me along this road called life.  I know that only as I rely upon Your wisdom can I travel in safety.
“With your ears you will hear a word from behind you: "This is the way; stay on it, whether you go to the right or the left."

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the author and originator of all the many inventions designed to make my life easier.  Today, I want to thank You, ABBA, for the vehicle I drive.  Modern transportation is amazing, and is truly convenient in getting from one place to another without a great length of time.  I thank You, my Elohim, that Your hand is upon our family vehicles, keeping them operating without unnecessary breakdowns.  I praise and thank You, Father, for this gift of transportation!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who blesses me with the five different ‘senses’, all meant to assist me in my daily life.  Eyes with which to see, ears with which to hear, a nose to smell, a mouth with which to taste, the ability to touch – and all of this is processed by a mind, an intellect, which translates much of this into knowledge.  Let me not forget, ABBA, a heart that is eager and willing to understand Your ways, and Your WORD.  Father, the intricacies of Your creation are truly amazing!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who fashioned and formed me within my mother’s womb.  Your Word tells me that I am “fearfully and wonderfully made”, and I stand in awe, ABBA, at how this body that You gave to me functions and works.  Each part of my physical body has its place and purpose, yet all of it works together in unity and harmony.  And yet, it’s ultimate purpose is to be YOUR temple, Your “hekal”, one that gives honor and esteem to You.  I am in reverence, in worship, in adoration to You, my Creator …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  Thank You, my Father, for Your Torah, Your divine instructions in moral and righteous living, which is also my handbook for life.  Your Torah is the mirror that I look into, yearning to see the reflection of my Messiah looking back at me.  Thank You, ABBA, that You are faithful to complete the work You have started in me, bringing me always closer to the desired image of Yeshua.  You are my “El Chaiyai”, the El of MY life, and I adore You …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created the 7th day Shabbat.  You sanctified it, and set it apart, a commandment that is for all eternity.  Thank You, ABBA, that as I am faithful to cling to Your instructions concerning THIS day, I confirm to everyone that I am in covenant with You.  How special Your Shabbat is, this holy – ‘kadosh’ – day!  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who strengthens me continuously, helping me to keep my feet firmly planted upon the Rock who is my Messiah and Redeemer.  When the hurricanes and tornadoes of life threaten to blow me off course, You are there, my “Ha El Hame´ Azreni Chayil”, my El who girds me with strength, to have Your way in the storms and the whirlwinds.  Thank You, my ABBA, that in my weakness is YOUR strength made perfect.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who reveals to me the keys to success and prosperity.  It is ONLY when I commit myself to the study, AND the doing, of Your Torah, that my way will be prosperous.  And it is ONLY as I submit to You, and Your ways, that You teach me the ways to profit, and to success.  May all that I do be to YOUR honor, and to YOUR praise … in the Name of Yeshua our Messiah, AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who hears my EVERY prayer.  You hear it when it is nothing more than a whisper; You hear it when I cry it as loud as I can; and You hear it when it is nothing more than silence deep within my innermost being.  You are my “El Hanne’ eman”, the Faithful God, who answers my prayers.  You may not always answer them in the way I want You to, but I acknowledge that Your ways are higher than my ways, and Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.  I submit to YOUR wisdom, ABBA, for I know that You are the source of all wisdom, and in Your wisdom, You want only the best for me. I love You, my Avi, my Father.

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who uses the situations and circumstances in my life to teach me patience.  I am learning to wait, to wait on YOU, on Your timing, on the fulfillment of Your Word, especially IN me.  I am learning to be as patient with others as You are with me, for when I am honest with myself, I realize that the standard for patience lies with YOU, “El Rachum”, the God of Compassion.  Thank You, ABBA, that You never leave me, never abandon me, but will complete what You have started in me, until the day of Messiah Yeshua!  Hallelu-YAH!!!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my hiding place, the Parent whom I run to when I am lost, wounded, or afraid. It is to the Everlasting Arms that I run to for comfort, knowing that only in the shadow of THE “El Shaddai”, El, the ALL-sufficient El, am I safe and secure. Thank You, ABBA, for the rest and refreshing that comes from time spent in YOUR presence, and thank You for Your shalom, Your peace that will always surpass all understanding, keeping me in Messiah Yeshua, my Lord, my Adon.  Amein …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me another night of sweet, restful sleep.  Thank You, ABBA, that as I sit, watching the outline of the hills taking shape in the coming dawn, I am as sure of YOUR love and care as I am of the coming day.  You are the Creator, who set the sun, moon, and ALL of the stars in their appointed places, and that You concern Yourself with me is still beyond my comprehension.  I am forever grateful, Yah …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  As I read and study Your Word, I thank You for the continual admonition to “fear NOT”, and to trust in YOU.  I know that fear destroys faith and trust, and when I rehearse the ‘what ifs’, I am elevating my circumstances above and beyond who You are, the “Ha El Osay Pele”, the Elohim Who Works Wonders.  Help me, ABBA, to keep my eyes firmly fixed upon You.  Help me to never doubt Your hand upon me.  And help me to walk with the assurance that I have nothing to fear, for my Elohim is in control of my life … AMEIN!
