Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gave to me the way of salvation and deliverance, through my Messiah Yeshua.  Thank YOU, Father, that You so loved me, that before time ever was, Messiah was purposed to die in my place.  In response to His death, I now strive to walk and live in right relationship with You, working out my own deliverance with fear and trembling.  Truly, You are the “El Yeshuati”, the Elohim of my salvation, and I am beyond thankful.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is SEES everything that concerns me, everything about ME and my life.  You are my “El Roi”, the Elohim who SEES, and nothing is hidden from Your sight.  You also see the end from the beginning, and all that is in between.  You see when I stumble and fall, and You are always right there to pick me up again.  You see when my hand reaches out for You, knowing that I can never walk through this valley without You.  Thank You, my ABBA, that I can rely on Your eyesight when travelling through the darkness, knowing that You will never lead me out of Your will for my life.  I adore You, my ABBA, my Elohim, my YAH …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are YOU, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is FAITHFUL, faithful to keep Your covenant with me, Your child.  You are faithful to extend grace and mercy to those who love You, who strive to walk and live according to Your WORD, Your TORAH.  Your faithfulness is amazing, ABBA, for You are faithful even to a thousand generations! You are “El Hanne’ eman”, the FAITHFUL God, and You NEVER change!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is my “AdonaiYir’eh”, my Lord who provides.  You are the One who fills all my need according to Your riches in esteem by Messiah  יהושע.”  You are also my Shepherd, therefore I do not suffer lack.  ABBA, thank You for teaching the difference between a want and a need, for I recognize that there may be many ‘things’ that I want, but do not necessarily need.  And thank You, my Elohim, for revealing to me that godliness and reverence, with contentment, are great gain.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe.  You are the Elohim who is, was and who is to come.  You are the Beginning, and You are the End, and You are everything in between.  You are my Bread of Life, and the Living Water that quenches my thirst.   You are my King of Kings, and the ruler over all the earth.  You are my Bridegroom, and I eagerly await Your coming!  Maranatha!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the Universe, who has sanctified us with your commandments, and given us your holy Sabbath as a heritage, a memorial of the work of creation.  For it is the day beginning for holy convocations, a memorial of the exodus from Egypt, reminding us You chose us and sanctified us from all the nations.  Blessed are You, Adonai, who sanctifies the Shabbat.  AMEIN.

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has opened wide the eyes and ears of my understanding, that I might know the truth of Your Torah.  Thank You, my Elohim, that because You are instructing me in Your truth, I can now more easily discern that which is wrong, or false.  Help me, ABBA, to walk the path of Your choosing, that I might not ever turn to the right or to the left, only focusing on You, and YOUR ways.  In the Name of Yeshua my Messiah, AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is our ultimate example in giving.  Because of the amazing, unconditional love that You have for us, Your children, You allowed Your Son, Yeshua HaMashiach to suffer a horrible death in our place – all that we might be restored to a right and proper relationship with You.  Help us, ABBA, to not only love as You love, but to also give as YOU give, “for freely we have received, now freely we must give.”

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who heals every wound, every disease, every affliction, and every form of torment that has ever been known.  Thank You, Yeshua HaMashiach, for the blood that You shed at the whipping post, for it is THIS blood that not only delivers us from curse of sin and death, but brings our healing and deliverance from ALL sickness and disease.  Truly, there is still a Balm in Gilead, and there will always be power in the blood of our Messiah King!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is continually teaching me how to discipline my “tongue”.  Thank You, ABBA, for the times when I see the need to be silent, to swallow my words, and just smile.  I see that there are those times when it is better to be at peace than to be RIGHT.  I see that there are those times when I need to let my light so shine, silently, rather than be accompanied by a loud voice.  Thank You, my Father, for Your diligence and Your patience, as I persevere in these lessons.  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before You, O YAHWEH, my Rock and my Redeemer.”  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is the foundation of simple common sense.  So often You pull me aside, telling me to stop and THINK, before doing something that IS in reality, foolish.  You show me the wisdom in restraining myself, in exercising self-control, and allowing You to finish the work You began in me. Truly, YOUR wisdom is without limit, and available 24/7 – all I have to do is ask!  Your ways are higher than my ways, and Your thoughts than my thoughts, yet You assure me that Your thoughts toward me are always for the good.  Thank You, my “AVI”, my Father, that my trust in You will never be put to shame!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohm, King of the universe, who invites me, draws me, calls me to come into Your presence, that I might find the rest and refreshing for each new day.  Only in YOUR presence is there fullness of Joy, and only in Your presence does the weary traveler find the direction that is needed to stay on the path of Your choosing.  Thank You, ABBA, that as my Shepherd, You lead me and guide me in paths that I can always trust.  My eyes are focused on You, the ‘El Gibbor’, the Strong and Mighty God!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who takes great delight when I am obedient to the seventh-day Shabbat.  You are THE one who sanctified and set apart THIS day, YAH, and I choose to honor You in it, on it, and through it.  Thank You, ABBA, for this sign between me and You, this everlasting, eternal covenant, that shows the world who I belong to!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has nurtured within me a heart willing to receive Your Torah, Your instructions in moral and righteous living.  My desire, ABBA, is to always be teachable, willing and obedient.  May I never become hard-hearted and stone deaf; may Your Word always find a home within me.  Thank You, my Elohim, that You are revealing more and more of the image of Messiah Yeshua in and through me – which is Your desire for my life!  AMEIN and amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, whose hand is filled with MERCY.  When You tip Your hand, mercy runs over, saturating me thoroughly; I stand in awe of an Elohim that loves me that much.  Loving-kindness – “chêsed” - is Your favor that I do not deserve, but MERCY is Your unconditional, never-ending love that You give to generation after generation.  Every morning Your mercy is new, and I thank You, praise You, that Your mercy NEVER runs dry!  You are my “El Chaiyai”, the Elohim of my life, and I ADORE You!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who teaches me to appreciate the simple, little things in life.  The fresh, clean smell of line-dried clothes, the love of an animal, trusting you to provide for all of their needs, the smile of an infant reflected in his/her mother’s face: this are all simple pleasures we too often rush past and forget about.  Thank YOU, ABBA, that You are teaching me to slow down, and wait, to savor the taste of each moment, knowing that once it is gone, it will never be repeated again.  Thank You, YAH, for this gift of time.  May I learn, truly learn, how precious it really is.  AMEIN!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who floods my innermost being with PEACE, when chaos threatens to turn my world upside down.  When everything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong, my ‘Sar Shalom’, my Prince of Peace, is there, strengthening me, and reassuring me that HE is still on the throne of my life, and He is bigger than every problem that I have.  Truly, when the enemy comes in, like a flash flood the Spirit of YHWH will come against him!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who pours into me the LIFE giving water that I need to satisfy my thirst.  Just as You give this earth its needed rain in Your due season, You generously give to me the ‘spiritual rain’ I require, for nourishment and growth.  Your “living water” – both the written Torah, and Yeshua, the LIVING Torah – are the only thirst quenchers that truly satisfy; everything else is but a shadow, and will leave a dry after-taste.  Thank You, my “AdonaiYir’eh”, my Lord who sees to it, my God who provides, that the ‘rivers of living water’ NEVER run dry!  Hallelu-YAH!!!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who fills us with Your JOY when we open our hearts to You.  Joy is also a fruit of the Ruach HaKodesh, an evidence of Your work within us, bringing us to the mature person You desire us to be.  “Sing praise to Adonai, you faithful of his; and give thanks on recalling his holiness. For his anger is momentary, but his favor lasts a lifetime. Tears may linger for the night, but with dawn come cries of JOY.”  Spring up, O well, within my soul!  Let the JOY of my YAH overflow to all of those around me!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who continues to reveal to me the blessings of Your Shabbat.  Just like a bride anticipating the arrival of her groom, I eagerly look forward to this day, the day You sanctified and set-apart.  Thank You, my ABBA, for this time I spend with You.  Thank You, my Elohim, for the time in the future, for the Sabbat that will never end!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has set a multitude of angels around us to protect us, and keep us safe from all harm.  We are very careful to not engage in the worship of angels, for we know and recognize who and what they are, but we thank YOU, ABBA, for sending them to minister to us.  We love and adore YOU, our ‘YHWH Elohim’, and we choose to walk according to Your Word, Your Torah, training our eyes and our hearts to stay focused on You. Because we do so, we know that You have given Your angels charge over us, to ‘keep’ us in all of our ways.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me eyes to SEE with.  Thank You, Father, that as I watch the rising sun at the dawn of a new day, I am able to see clearly the wonderful color palate You use throughout this world.  To look up into the night sky, with its millions of lights visible to the naked eye, is absolutely amazing.  To look upon the relaxed face of my spouse while he sleeps, grabs my heart with joy.  Thank You, ABBA, for this special gift of sight; may it be something I never take for granted.  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gently speaks to me in the dark hours of the night, teaching me, and giving me instructions on things I need to know.  You even fill my heart with a song, and when I wake in the morning with a hymn of praise on my lips, I know my Elohim has visited me, giving me HIS ‘song in the night’.  I find answers to questions, decision where there was indecision, and resolve where there was wavering.  Truly, You are the “El Hannora”, the AWESOME God, our 24/7 God, for You never slumber, and You never sleep!  Awesome, so awesome, is WHO You are!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who takes me by the hand, and leads me in the paths of righteousness for YOUR name’s sake.  These are paths of truth and holiness, of consecration and commitment, and though I may not understand every turn in the road, I KNOW that You are there with me.  You, ABBA, go before me to prepare the way, and You are my faithful rear guard, watching over me, and guiding every step that I take.  May this walk I am on bring You praise, honor and glory, in Yeshua’s Name!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has given me a habitation, a dwelling place, a place to call home while I sojourn upon this earth.  I understand that what I see at the present is not my eternal home, my final destination.  However, You, ABBA, have provided for me, in Your mercy, a place where I can dwell, a sanctuary, where I can rest at the end of each day.  I thank You, my Elohim, for the security of a place where I was able to raise my children, a place where I can close the door on the cares of this world, and fellowship with You, and with my family.  Eye has not seen, nor ear heard the things You have laid up for me, my wonderful Father!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who is teaching me the importance of being STILL, of being quiet.  As I sat this morning on my porch, I realized how loud the stillness can be, if I would only pay attention and listen.  It is in the quiet, when my mind and body are calm and still, that I hear the sound of my ABBA’s voice the loudest.  It is when He takes me by the hand, leads me beside the still waters, that I hear Him say, “Peace, be still!”  And then I KNOW that He is Elohim, MY Elohim …

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created, sanctified, and delighted in the Sabbath.  I thank You, my ABBA, for THIS day, when I can cling to YOU, delight in YOU, and learn more of YOU, and Your ways.  Unite my heart, Father, to be single-minded towards You, to be diligent in my pursuit of You.  Thank You, my Elohim, that it gives You pleasure when I stretch out my hand to You, in praise, adoration and worship.  You are my “El Chaiyai”, the God of my life; may I ALWAYS run to You.  Amein!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the Universe, who IS wisdom, and gives me wisdom, when I ask in faith, believing I receive.  Thank You, my Elohim, for YOUR unfailing and never ending wisdom.  When I stop to consider all of this, You are teaching me simple, common sense, the practical application of the knowledge You have given me.  How awesome are Your ways, YAH, and Your patience with me! What an amazing ABBA Father You are, for You are training me in the way I should go!  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who created not only the ‘valleys’, but the ‘mountains’ as well.  Thank You, ABBA, for the instructions and lessons learned as You walk me THROUGH the valleys, revealing to me that there would be no valleys without the mountains around them.  As I struggle up the incline of each mountain of testing and trial, You are right there with me, pulling me upwards – and yes, even pushing me when discouragement tends to overwhelm me.  Thank You, my Father, for the amazing panorama from the top of each mountain, where every element of the climb can be seen in its proper perspective.  I thank You, my Elohim, my Creator, for the wisdom You display when YOU choose the path for the climb, knowing it will perfect those things that concern me.  I stand in awe of Your care, Your concern, for ME …

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who gives me strength to stand, strength to endure.  Thank You, my ABBA, that in my weakness is YOUR strength and power most effective.  You are my HELP, my Deliverer, in my troubled times.  I praise You, I thank You, for You are always looking, searching for those on whose behalf You can BE that “Machseh”, that fortress, shelter, and HIGH TOWER!  I stand, planted firmly upon my Rock, my “El Yeshuati”, who is the God of my Salvation.  Hallelu-YAH!

Yom Berekha - The Daily Blessing

Blessed are You, YHWH our Elohim, King of the universe, who has blessed me with many of today’s modern conveniences, both to enjoy, and to make my life somewhat easier.  Thank You, Father, for indoor plumbing, for a toilet that flushes, and for hot and cold running water.  Thank You for electricity, that I might turn lights on and off when needed.  And I don’t want to forget my washer and drier; these appliances make wash day so very much easier.  Last, but certainly not least, thank You, ABBA, for the vehicle I drive, that allows me to get from one place to another, without having to walk.  Thank You, Father, thank You …
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no change, nor shadow of turning.”  (James 1:17 ISR)
