Our Plans

“Many plans are in a man's mind, but it is the Lord's purpose for him that will stand.”(Proverbs 19:21 Amp)
New Year’s resolutions are a tradition many centuries old; we have all made them, and I am sure most of us have broken at least ONE of them as well.It appears that with the beginning of a New Year almost upon us, we feel almost COMPELLED to make new plans for ourselves, new beginnings, think new thoughts, and have a complete new purpose for our lives.
However, one of the reasons that many New Year’s resolutions are perhaps not successful is because they are not made IN and THROUGH the Lord.When we choose to make plans and decisions without asking our Master and Creator, we are, in reality, in rebellion.We cannot continue to walk in our OWN agenda and expect the Lord to honor it, for we no longer belong to ourselves (see Luke 17:7-10; 1Peter 1:18-19; James 4:13-16).As servants of the Most High God, we take our directions from HIM.An employee, or servant, NEVER tells his/her…

We Rejoice in Your Shabbat!

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, King of the universe, who has given us another beautiful Sabbath to enjoy, to set apart and sanctify, and to worship You in and through it.We thank You, Father, that we follow YOUR example, as we rest on this, the seventh day.We realize Sabbath keeping IS an ordinance, and a blessing, something that has never been revoked or annulled, and we rejoice in another opportunity to be obedient to You, our ABBA Father.We honor YOU, our Adonai, as Lord of THIS day, Lord of the Sabbath.

Water

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, King of the universe, who gives us water, water to satisfy the thirst of a tired and dry body.You give us water to cook with, wash with, sustain our pets and livestock with, and to raise our crops with.You freely have given us of Your LIVING water, through Y’shua haMassiach, that we may drink, and drink, and drink to our heart’s content.By the washing of water and the Word, You continue to cleanse and sanctify us, preparing us to be the Royal Priesthood You desire us to be.You are our “El Tsaddik”, our RIGHTEOUS God, and we thank You for Your precious water, that we appreciate so little … let it rain, YAH, let it rain!

THIS Shabbat

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, King of the universe, who joins us in resting on THIS day, the day You sanctified and set apart as THE Sabbath.You delight in Your people as they willingly, joyfully, and in obedience, use this day to honor and sanctify their union with YOU, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the One is, who was, and the One who is to come, and is coming very, very soon.Our eyes are focused upon You, Lord, and we cleave to You, on this peaceful Shabbat that You have given to us.Shabbat Shalom to You, the “El Gibbor”, the Mighty God!Hallelu-YAH!

Blessed are You, Adonai our God, King of the universe, who blesses us with children and grandchildren for us to nurture and enjoy. While we enjoy this festive, holiday season, we give YOU thanks for being the ABBA Father You are, always loving and caring for us.May all of our household KNOW and honor You, serve You in love and joy all the days of their lives. Thank You, “Elohim Avinu”, God our Father, for all the promises in Your Word, the promises that cover ALL of our households. In the Name that is above ALL names, Y’shua of Nazareth, AMEN!
