Dedication - Part 2

O my people, may you live good and perfect lives before the Lord our God; may you always obey his laws and commandments, just as you are doing today.” (1 Kings 8:61 TLB)

Thank You, Father, that as we wait upon You, our strength is renewed like the eagles’. We lift up our eyes to the hills, for our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. You are a very present help in the day of trouble, and You deliver us from the evil one. We shall stand still and see the salvation of the Lord; You, Lord, will fight for us, and we shall hold on to our peace. Thank You, Lord, for the armor that we wear, for it comes from Your hands. In You, Lord, we rest, for no weapon formed against us shall prosper, nor shall any tongue rise in judgment against us. This is our heritage as Your servants, Lord, and our righteousness is from You.

You are our refuge and our high tower, our shield and our buckler, our hiding place. You have promised, Lord, that we, who dwell in the secret place of …

Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in Heaven; it shall NEVER return to You empty, but it shall always accomplish that which You intend for it to do. Our trust is in You, Lord, with all of our hearts. We lean not to our own understanding. In all of our ways, we will acknowledge You, and You shall direct our paths. For Your Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our paths; our delight is in Your Word, and we meditate in it day and night.

You, Lord, are the Good Shepherd, and we are very careful to listen for Your voice. By the very gentle and precious Holy Spirit You lead us, You guide us, You instruct us in the Way we should go. May we always have ears to hear and a heart that hungers and thirsts for Your righteousness. Cause us to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for in You do we trust. Cause…
